If you've ever thought you just "can't grow plants" because you have a huge brown thumb, then I have a surprise for you....

Zamioculcas Zamiifolia, or the "ZZ plant", is the plant for you! It's almost like it was designed for new gardeners that tend to kill plants. It's one of the hardiest houseplants you'll come across, making it the perfect choice for a beginner gardener.

In this guide, we'll take a look at the incredibly easy to care for Zamioculcas zamiifolia, more commonly referred to simply as the ZZ plant.

I touch on ZZ plant propagation as well, as you'll probably want more of these babies in your home.

I bought a ZZ plant a few years ago and it has turned into a monster. It goes outside every year into a bright shaded spot and only comes back in for the winter. It sends out new growth twice a year, and I've had to repot it every single year, too. Now it's in a large 2' glazed ceramic pot and it's the heaviest plant I own. I'm no weakling, yet it's getting to the point where even I can barely pick it up anymore. I'm going to have to find an even larger pot for it again this year. I absolutely love it!🌿

I love the fact that your presentations never come across as a lecture but rather. . . okay gang, let's do this. Of course, as we're all in self- quarantine due to Covid-19,
I've been spending plenty of time researching house plants. When this is all over, I'm taking my list and going plant shopping! ZZ is at the top of my list. Never lose
your sense of humour. Thanks!

I just bought/rescued a Raven ZZ from Walmart . . . the poor things were dying in 100% peat moss in a plastic pot. Two of the tubers had already rotted. They are now in a sand/vermic/soil mix in terra cotta and feeling much better. I'm so excited to acquire this! Thanks so much for your video

Fell in love with these and hunted for for years. Finally I brought one and it had gotten to big for the pot and warped it. I had to cut it out the pot. It's doing so well now.

Years ago before I educated myself on houseplants, I had a beautiful, large ZZ! I killed it : ( But the ZZ wasn't the only one. Now after lots of research & education, I'm ready to try again all the plants I killed!

I almost killed a ZZ plant :(, I was new to house plants and I used some dirt from outside. I'm glad I managed to save it and used potting soil with much better drainage.

thanks always nice to see the passion of indoor planters. I struggle with any plant that does not like or need water. Not watering is like ignoring it. Thanks for sharing

I like your truly point out quickly and shortly. Not too much talk and not too much stress out my time. I agreed with the informations. Because the rooting too too slow. Better buy the new plants and add to it than waiting for ever to be rooted.

My coworker was retiring & this plant was on the door I snatch a piexe but it was a bulb. Well it took so long to root but I decided to throw away but something said don't. Well that has been about 6- 7 yrs ago & its the most beautiful plant I have in my collection. My coworker passed a couple yrs ago now but it's tge most beautiful plant I have. I name it in honor of Mrs. Addie.❤
