Like other programmers, my first language was Basic. I remember hitting the wall with that language when I suddenly realized that it could not simultaneously ask for inputs and loop a function. As a psychology student, many of my peers used SPSS, which is 10x worse than R. So I picked up R, which is common among psychology researchers. I was somewhat surprised to hit the same wall with R, which has difficulty nesting and calling functions and variables within functions, respectively. Not to mention, R is quite finicky with variables types and inflexible in ways that made Python a convenient transition.

Do you think it makes sense to scientific like R and Python ? Python seems better, as it seems like Python can do everything they do plus many things

I tolerate R syntax more than SAS syntax.💀😂

Second comment. At the same level of programming skills, I think python is more intuitive.
