Had one of my better "gold years" running a Legend this past summer (all water hunting, Great Lakes region, freshwater). It can hit chains and bracelets with authority and was able to hit on several deep gold rings hidden amongst old rusty nail patches. More than paid for itself and did great recovering several lost rings for "customers" also. Overperformed for the price and dug less rusty nails compared to past machines.

I just met a gentleman who was metal detecting….. very gracious with his time . He introduced me to what he was using after I told him that I had a top of the line Whites metal detector, years back.
He was using the top model of Legend. I was pleased and sold on the idea that his was water 💦 proof down to 15 feet, and that it cost less than $600.00 out off Tampa, Florida store. I also came to find out that the “Whites” detector company had gone out of business 😿.

Anyways…… I am now going to go and do my research on this product, before getting one. All indications are pointing positive.

I echo this video. I love my legend. It's light, rugged and very intuitive to learn and use. It detects quite deep with outstanding target separation in trashy areas. It's an amazing machine. My only wish for it is a mid size coil. C'mon, Nokta. Make it happen.

Glad i bought one. the two new coils are going out to dealers next week. A 9.5x6" DD and a 12x9" DD. They will transform the already great machine yet further. The 9.5x6 LG 24 and the LG30 respectively...I'd pre-order real quick-sharp if I were you!

Use my Legend often, I hunt Spanish colonial artifacts in St Augustine Florida est 1565 the nation's oldest continually occupied city, it's a great machine but struggles over that flat iron, most machines do so not knocking it, used an Etrac for the past 10+ years and Nox since they came out, find myself grabbing my legend much more than my other machines, great features, easy to set up and use with a good set of features.

I bought a legend after my equinox 800 flooded just past warranty and Minelab gave me a cold shoulder. I've been surprised to find the Legend a big upgrade in many respects and just as deep. Nokta has made me a believer👍

What search coil are you using on the beach or what is a good search coil for the beach

With the new version of the software, the legend is excellent, it can even handle a thin open earmold.. Which it can't handle as well as a detector with a multifrequency (yes, it can handle it only with a monofrequency) This depth test and a test with an earmold prove it...

I worked really hard for two years with a "big name" detector, in some of the gold rich country in Oz. In the Gympie area.
I never made the price of a hamburger!

Good day! After a year of using the music of legends, the device stopped working! Writes SS ! I purchased a complete set of pro! That is, the device does not see more than one coil! I am very offended, for such money and such a low-quality device! The device has never been in the water! What should I do? It's the search season and I'm with a faulty device! I am very disappointed!

How does this compare to the white machines? Even though they are out of business the only machines i've used are white

Hi Ed, I having some difficulties of finding thin gold necklace chains in the park with The Legend. I uses the pro pack, smallest search coil with Park Mode and M1. It detected a coin - half inch diameter, five inches depth, but could not detect the chain buried on the same spot, three inches depth, that I accidentally found. What is your advice?
