Pearson VUE reusable booklet

When they say "erasable noteboard booklet", I actually thought we'll be given Magna Doodles for note-taking.

These things are awful. I had to waste time trying to get a working marker. The test admin gave me 2 markers and both of them were close to empty, I asked for another 5 min in, and that one also close to empty...really frustrating and not something you want to deal with when you are paying several 100 dollars for a test.

Edit: I used 1 notebook of 9 pages and that was enough lol

Oh thank god! When I heard they were switching to a whiteboard, I thought they meant a normal whiteboard with one of those big dry-erase markers.

Could this be replicated with laminated graph paper and a fine-point sharpie?

I hate not using a pencil, eraser, and white blank paper. The line marking on this one always semed kind of distracting to me. Anyway...

Today I took FE exam and these markers and laminated papers we’re really really really awful and took most of my time!!! They distracted me so It was the worst part of the test! Embarrassing…

what kind of pen is this? and in PTE exam this kind of pen they provide to students?

I am taking the MCAT in January 2018. I received confirmation that this is what we will be using in place of a notebook and pencil. While the pen does not smear/erase/smudge if you rub it with your finger, is there a way to erase it during the exam if I make a mistake and want to correct it during a problem? Or is there no way for a student to erase it during the exam time?

I prefer pencil and paper, I haven't used a marker for years.

Is this still the pearsonvue standard ? I did the exam at Netassist International: Pearsonvue Certified. They did not provide me with such a booklet but only a erasable notepad with a marker pen that didn't even have a fine tip.

I also heard that the provided booklet was dry-erase (i.e. "reusable"). Is the paper booklet and fine-point marker shown in the video correct?
