Im not so mich a mountain biker, but i do a lot of adventure motorcycle riding, and that comes with a lot of ricer crossings. Honestly quite wasy, you start on the high side (so if the current is flowing left to right you start on the left side) and the moment your front wheel hits the water it should also turn with the current. Keep the weight over the rear and controll the boke with your front, try it a few times when youre close to your van or somwhere to dry off and have fun.

me and my friends have a 30 ish mile loop aro7nd dupont, including that creek crossing! we usually just forge it with bikes overhead

I’ve actually rode there. He actually wrote the creek in the wrong spot. There’s if you go further down, there’s a little bit of rocks you can write on top of.
