Thank you. I finally I understood, by your clear and simple presentation, how the whole bi-wiring and bi-amping works.

What is the title of your video that explains how to create your own cables? I searched though your video titles, and it wasn't obvious...

Love your info. You do a great job, but I have a question. Concerning Bi-WIRING What would be the difference in just connecting the positives together and same with the negatives at the point of the speaker? Then just going both reds on one speaker and both blacks on one speaker, to the red and black, on the amp? Why connect each positive and each negative separately when they will come together "down the road"? Thank you.

So if my receiver has 4 plug ins for a left channel and 4 for a right channel should I just wire it all individually to all different plug ins on my reciver?

I know this old but for the people out their currently trying to bi wire. If you are going to tie the ends and connect them at the amp reciever don't bother you are literally just bridging them at the source instead of the speaker. Only and I mean only if a receiver allows you to use separate terminals and biwire independently of each other does this have validity. If you have a amp with a+b use top connectors for top connector of speaker same with bottom even better is if it says bi wire at the back of amp or reciever. Reasoning is a good reciever and or amp with separate the frequency making use of the bi wire and a separate connector for better separation. Never ever just combine to wires at the sources end waste of money and time. Also if you have 12 Guage wire in most cases it will sound great 16 is good if it's well insulated and has short runs. Thank you now by by them.

I did the bi-amping, and the sound - even after recalibrating the speakers - was muddy: powerful, but imprecize bass, very harsh highs, mid was not creating any room. One cable is a shorter 2, 5mm2 cross surface I used for the highs, the other one is a longer 4mm2 cross surface that I used for the lows.
Is it the amp that is crappy, or the cables really have to have the same properties to do bi-amping?
Of course, I removed the interconnecting wires between the speaker poles to keep the right impedance.
Out of curiousity, I swapped the pairs in between high and low posts, and it didn't really do much difference, I expected hissing or lost sound due to filters of the speaker.
Any tip? I have a Pioneer SC-LX88, I used the Top middle for highs, Front for lows as per the manual.

So if you just want to single terminal wire your speakers you leave the metal brackets on and plug in just the two red and black cables into anyone of the two red and black terminals

great video..please a question, I am using a black/red to the amp and 4 to the speaker, does it matter (i feel it should) what red goes to the top red and bottom red? Same for the black wires?

If I have a surround amplifier, with two front set of speakers should I use the two front sets or should I use one front and one rear set of speakers?

I have Yamaha HTR5660 with tower Yamaha NS555 running speakers A to highs and speakers B to lows. What if i just split speakers A highs n lows to 1 tower and speakers B highs n lows to other tower?
I'm using heavy gauge 6ft wires to each which seem to sound better with more power or volume than when I tried connecting banana plugs, which I removed to use only bare wire again.
And i wonder what if i left the bridge on and ran same way using speakers A&B, would that be like using double power?
