Good to see you guys back, I was waiting all month for a new video and glad to see you back. I have to be honest and say I don't like the big screen inside the car nor do I think it's that cheap either and ionity I know are one of the most expensive to charge at. Bottom line, it wouldn't convince to buy one, I'll stick with my Renault Kadjar diesel.

There won’t be many of these sold that’s for sure. €70k+ for a car with an indicated 350km winter range, and €36 to get 50kw on a public charger - the same as buying diesel, on a per KM basis. Home charger is cheaper, sure, but Even with prolonged high energy costs, similar size/practicality ICE cars are a relative bargain for total cost of ownership and low mileage owners.

70k… not a hope. It’s a Ford! I’d have a BMW IX3 for that money. The range is shocking. Imagine if you had the smaller battery. You would be afraid to go on the motorway.

So it cost 36 quid to charge from 75 kms to 273 kms and took almost 40 minutes. That’s 198 kms which you’d probably get maybe 160 kms or so in real world driving. Even with the ridiculous fuel prices as it is 36 quid would get you a lot more than the 200 ish kilometres and you wouldn’t have to waste 40 minutes charging

Probably not the most balanced review of an electric car, to be fair.

For a start, why pay a high price per kWh for a 350kW charger when the car can only charge at 150kW? A 150kW ESB charger, which costs €0.27 per kWh, would have been the most suitable for this car. One of those chargers would have delivered the same amount of electricity, arguably at the same speed, but would only have cost approximately €13.50

Also, realistically, most people will charge at home, which will be the cheapest option. At the moment, with prices of all energy/fuel being unpredictable, it is good knowing that your electricity prices at home can be secured for the next 12-24 months at a set price per kW. The same cannot be said for petrol or diesel - who knows what price per litre they will be next week, next month, etc.

59% charge is 149 km?
E-cars are a fail, even more so with those idiotic menu systems on a touch screen.
