Additional support for COVID Assist in W.A.

An additional 100 soldiers from Townsville's 3rd Brigade deployed on Operation COVID-19 Assist on Thursday 1 October 2020.
Departing from RAAF Base Townsville, the soldiers, drawn from the 1st Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment, and the 3rd Combat Signal Regiment, will provide support to government and civilian agencies in Western Australia with quarantine compliance monitoring tasks.
This is a continuation of ADF support to government and civilian agencies, and 3 Brigade will remain postured to provide additional support as required.
