Wake Up - Rube Goldberg 3D Animation

Entstanden ist dieser Clip an der Hochschule Osnabrück bei Herrn Prof. Dr. Jürgen Kampmann im Modul Animation mit dem Programm Cinema4D(C4D). Der Schwerpunkt der Hausarbeit wurde auf Visualisierung technischer Prozesse gelegt. Alles, bis auf den Charakter, wird physikalisch berechnet und durch Kollisionen ausgeführt. Beim Anschalten des Ventilators wurde eine Xpresso-Schaltung programmiert, die dafür sorgt das dieser sich beim runterdrücken des Knopfes anschaltet. Außerdem wurden Kleidungs-Tags, Federn, Scharniere etc. verwendet.
Wegen der hohen Berechnung war eine Livevorschau nur bedingt und sehr langsam möglich, was sich auf die Kamerafahrten negativ ausgewirkt hat, da diese so nicht Optimal umgesetzt werden konnten.

Its a rube goldberg machine with only physical calculation and rendering. It has domino effects, ropes, springs, hinge, collision effects an a lot more technical stuff. The effect starts with stopping the alarm. In the end the person will be waked up with a funny idea.
