The problem with South Korea isn't the fact that you get hated for having explicit stuff, it's the fact that you try to be different. I mean look at modern KPOP artists nowadays. You can't tell the difference between one group to another

They expect you to be like everyone else to rise to the top, But PSY proved not only the music industry, but the entire world. He truly deserved the respect and his gains from the passion he had on him.

I love how PSY doesn't give a f*ck about the haters and criticizers. His free spirit is what draws us to him and hopefully in future we'll see more K-pop artists breaking away from the cliche methods and just being who they actually are. It's better for their own sake I think.

PSY became the first K-Pop superstar that I like when I was a kid and I used to always start practing his dances in Gangnam Style and in Mother, Father, Gentleman, but when other K-Pop stars start to shine, I pretty much forgot about him but then this video came up, and I immediately remember him from childhood and I'm so glad that I grew up with his crazy dancing and songs

PSY owning his own music label is so under-rated. South Korea is dominated by monopolies, and only PSY has enough influence to create his own label and break away from the monopolies (that control advertisements, promoting, venues, etc.). That's what makes PSY a legend in South Korea.

As a kpop fan this was the the first kpop song i heard without even knowing it was a kpop song but this man has became successful enough that he made his own company "P Nation" where he is training really talented and unique artists he's truly a legend like he plays a part in our childhood.
