It would have been worth noting that they are top-flight bird hunting dogs. Their origins were mentioned, but some pictures of them in the field pointing and retrieving would have been useful. Unlike some breeds that can no longer accomplish their original purpose, wires definitely can!

GWPs are such hansom dogs. And even in videos it's evident that they have great personalities. I want one but they are so smart and high energy I doubt I could give it the life it Also they bark a lot. My neighbors would complain.

How are they with heat? It looks like they might have a pretty thick coat meant for snow.

I have had several min. Schnauzers, my brother has raised & shown German Shorthair dogs, l just love the look of the eyebrows & beard of the German Wirehaired dogs! Altho the size would prevent me from just scooping my German Wirehaired up out of trouble, like my schnauzers, who never knew they were Not "the biggest dog" in Any situation. :-D
