Super step by step breakdown of what to look for. Very helpful and I can see how easy it can be to look at one aspect of the data in isolation and draw the wrong conclusions.

Great work. Would be better if you do it for fixed setup pro vs normal racer. This way you can rule out the setups, which makes a huge difference

Thanks Dave. A great tutorial on using Delta as well as driving coaching. I am guilty of all these errors too. Might have to find a lap worthy of submission!

I recently got into LMU in the last two weeks and have also dabbled into GT3s in all the other sims as well. In iRacing I always just usually join the open practice sessions to run some laps if it's a track I enjoy and also try it with various cars (which may be a mistake). Anyways, I'm usually 3 to 4 seconds off pace to the top guys and end up in the 20s or 30s position wise (fixed setup as I'm not a setup guy). Bringing me back to LMU, I've done 5 online races with the GT3s so far and I'm struggling, off the pace about as much as I am in iRacing. Which then means my driver rating is always negative after the race. My fastest lap at Spa so far has been in the 2.21s and the top qualifier in every race so far has been in the 2.19s to even 2.18s. I just can't see how I'm that far off with fixed setups and only being able to take fuel out. Obviously at this point it's my driving but I just don't know where and what. Just venting my frustration, lol.

I used to not be able to watch these due to my old and over thinking every little thing I do but now I'm comfortable and played long enough to actually watch and maybe put it to use haha.

The reason this guy wasn't carrying the same speed and the pros lines with braking wrre so much better is they were trail braking longer. So even if they were slowing down it was maintained at a higher speed then this guy due to them trsil braking correclty. His real issue is he isnt trail braking long enough and trying to hold the brakes instead. He's coming to entry to slow instesd of trsil braking longer progressing to lower speed while still maintaining more and then they can get back on throttle after even if later then him because he's already been off the brakes for longer and would then try to use throttle to make up for it.

So many don't realize if you trsil brake for longer you arent actually going to be slower it will be faster because you are slowing down at the correct pace instead of slowing down to fast and or to much. Then you can usually get back on the throttle with a smooth transition or you can coast sometimes depending on the corner. All depends but that's his biggest issue imo. I've found if I just tell people that are going to slow here or there. Or they sre braking to little yet still going slower then they should. They usually go what? Me I wouldn't have been able to figure that out way back either. I would have been like wait do I brake less? Do I give more throttle? Do I coast more? But most don't understand hpw to fix it.

Great video and work. Coaching on point. Here's my problem from personal experience....certain equipment are no where as close to the capability of the DD equipment used by Pro drivers...and no matter what they throw out there it comes down to data driven facts. Whether it's ACC or now LMU my G923 lose more time when I try to extend the track using kerbs. I've compared it with T300 and can't see anything different other than the next issue which is inconsistent brake application...not from driver...the type that result in upgrade to that 3rd part USB to improve the consistency of signals. Maybe it's time to invest in that dark area called Moza so updates and tier 1 incoming.

Do we know if he is using the lmf, rf or rs setup. Because it look to My slow ass that he would be helped with a bit more rear stabiliy.
Geat video always Nice to se Someone going over a lap seeing where improvments can be found. 🙂

I presume this is only available on PC at this time ? I know you’ve done something for GT7 recently, but I only really play ACC on PS5 now.

What happens if my submitted lap is faster than the pro comparing against? Do I become a coach? Considering submitting if so

Let me tell everyone here in the comments this app is super beginner friendly, I'm making a video about this as we speak

Are both drivers using the same car and set up? Because if not analyzing is not really that beneficial...

At some point I'll have enough free time to invest in this. Then I'll have the evidence that I just lack confidence 😂

When you're looking at a lap that's miles off the pace it's easy to find faults.

too detailed an explanation for this level. unfortunately, these pilots are wrong elsewhere. I also went through the same stages, but with a single trick I managed to improve my lap times. no one talks about the fact that we beginners look at the nose of the car, instead of looking much further to anticipate the perfect trajectory of the car, in this case the exit takes us all by surprise, starting to accelerate later or too slowly. after that pilot succeeds in perfecting this step, trailbraking also comes naturally and he also perfects his exit from the apex. I learned this on my own skin after 1500 hours in ACC played without good results, currently I moved to iRacing, where I am getting better and better. Good luck to everyone!
