In his live rendition of "Given Up" it sounded like Chester briefly inhaled about halfway through a 15-17 second long scream. It's still nearly seamless and impressive. Also, in the live version of the song "Numb" it's worth noting that Chester does not rely on a pre-recorded track to help sing the the chorus even though the lyrics are practically overlapping on the studio recording of the song. He truncates some of the words in order to draw breath but somehow manages to maintain intensity. It's no wonder he's sweating by the end of certain high-intensity songs, and there's lots of them. It's evident that Chester put his all into his performances.
