There are 3 basic ways to confirm you have herpes. Make sure you tell your doctor everything and let them decide the best way to proceed. And again...I’m beating a dead horse but please do yourself a favor and if you think you have herpes then go get tested. Just don’t think it’ll go away or think that maybe it’s some weird skin rash. You owe it to yourself to treat your body right and get the proper diagnosis. This way you can get the antiviral and get onto your path of recovery soon.

You never talk about the pcr test, and tbh, the swab test isn't really accurate unless you have blisters or sores, and some don't even have those during the culture test (swab test), so it will just appear negative, so definitely do the blood test or pcr test better.

My partner keeps telling me that he tested negative. But I keep asking him if they performed a culture for 1 and 2. Is this necessary. I was diagnosed on November 17, 2020, now in January he says the doctor is going to release the negative test results in 3 to 5 days to show me, this has been hell to me because so deal with it.
