Hi Neil, hope you can do a segment or video about bike racks for SUV and Sedan, specifically on proper mounting and other helpful tips. More power to you and to the rest of the GMBN Team. Thank you!
Cheers from Manila Philippines! :)

gosh do you remember when we used to cut our bars down ? i looked back at some photos and old films and it's amazing we were able to steer around anything due to the shortness of the bars, they look silly as well as an accident waiting to happen, for me it was John tarmacs fault

Tighten brake and shifter clamps just enough so they don't move when using them. That way, in a crash they will rotate instead of braking. I set mine up so that they rotate a bit if I twist them hard.

Can you do a video on setting up rear coil shocks please?

From wanting to swop my brake leavers to having to take off the handle bars to do so, ugh. The turning the forks to get more slack might help actually. Thanks man.

I use brake triggers to remove regular handle grips(slacken & pull the trigger into the grip), & I oil them with light oil to easily slide them on(without haveing to tap them in)...

Any idea how to switch road bike bars to straight.. specialized tarmac specifically.
Any information would be greatly appreciated!

I have found that pushing a few zip ties or popsicle sticks between the grip around the bar works really well without scratching the bar.

Easiest way to remove regular grips that do not bolt on is with an air compressor. Using a small nozzle you can get under the edge of the grip and blast it off. Or press it against the end of the grip where the small hole is and point the opposite grip towards your friends head.

At 4:58 you adjust the roll or sweep of the bars and say "I like the sweep to be flat on the bars" Could you explain a bit further? Is this personal preference or does adjusting this have a noticeable affect on ride? Cheers

Do you have a video or tips on what to do or not to do when installing carbon fiber handlebars? Thanks!! Great videos!!

Good video on the bar setup, I'm surprised however that there was no mention of friction paste used for carbon bars. When I bought my carbon bars the manufacturer stressed how important the friction paste is as the torque specs for any of the bolts that clamp the bar is critical and without the paste things may not stay in place. I love your videos, watch all of them on a regular basis. Keep up the good work.

Hi guys, I want to request a video about the different types of headsets and standards of headsets and the different type of bearings. Something along the lines of GCN's video about bottom bracket standards.

Thanks!

Unfortunately bit disappointed with this How To video, I was hoping to get some knowledge on how to set your rise and sweep of the handlebar correctly to get the comfortable ride for the intended riding style

For taking off normal grips i use my pump by using a ballon adapter and putting it in the hole at the end give it a pump they fly of

I definitely didn't do this in my video about handlebars... lol this is very professional.

Don? .... are your bars carbon?
if so, what about carbon grip paste?
I realize the stem has a little kinda knurled bit, but would be good to metion that so people dont crush their bar.

Another way to get conventional grips on that is a little bit less messy is put zip ties on the inside of them and then pull them off. I got this tip from sets bike hacks " bike hacks episode 2" it has a picture of a red bike stand on it.
