ABOUT VAUSH
Vaush is a based American leftist youtuber and streamer. More specifically, Vaush is a Libertarian Socialist who advocates for Market Socialism. He is against authoritarian forms of leftism and opposes people who praise communist dictators like Stalin and Mao, calling them Tankies. Vaush believes that all unjust hierarchy should be abolished, and his final goal is a libertarian socialist society where workers own their means of production. He's also an advocate for LGBTQ+ and minority rights. Throughout his career, Vaush has debated numerous figures all across the political spectrum from the right, far right, and far left.

MISSION STATEMENT
Present Vaush's content in bite-sized, digestible chunks in order to appeal to potential fans that just don't have the patience to sit through a live stream. sometimes when Vaush talks about recieving harassment a part of me thinks, "oh he's a big boy, he'll be fine" but I'll be the first to admit that's a shitty way to think about it. There's this bizarre idea that men are or should be emotionless blocks of cement that can take whatever you throw at them, and that by doing so you're somehow proving your 'feminist cred'. It's not good to not have empathy folks.

This is definitely a thing. My ex used to work as a sexual assault victims advocate for the navy. She had to deal with some really bad and messed up stuff. She became really close with one of her female co workers who was very anti men. I saw and felt the change in her as they got closer and we drifted further apart. A lot of anger and blame. These people exist and aren’t emotionally healthy.

I saw a post on r/greentext a while back that went something like this:
> Be me skinny cis white guy, insecure about my body, never get compliments, feel emasculated
> Get idea
> Take some pictures of my body, post on trans-friendly forum saying I'm FtM trans on testosterone
> Get showered with compliments about how manly and masculine I am, from muscle growth to nice adam's apple
> Feel better about myself

Decent chance part of it is fake, and I think it's obviously bad to misuse what is supposed to be support groups for trans people like that.
But holy fuck it's insane how far behind men are in receiving support for a various amount of issues.

Liberal/left leaning spaces should not just dismiss people because they share characteristics with the people who are socially/economically on the top, and hate for the is unacceptable.

It is because of those feminist that I feel in the skeptic to alt right pipeline, it was a miracle that I didn't fully became conservative, and thanks to leftwingers like Vaush, Vadim and HBommberguy I left behind many of the toxic beliefs I held before, that being said, I do not consider myself a feminist nor an ally and as long as the man hating feminists are not removed from the movement.

it's important to oppose Conservatives and fight them, but you can also over-do that and take wrong positions while doing so, you have to walk that fine line.

You know it’s things like this that to me lend weight to what Vaush says. I think he is wrong on occasion but because he will criticise anyone including people he ideologically agrees with gives him a sense of authenticity.

You know who helped foster the online discourse of terfs... Feminist Frequency. Why? In her analysis of Women vs. Video Game Tropes, there is a lot of terf language used there to describe certain professions. She also fostered the idea of sexual performativity to be oppressive towards feminine sensibilities... there is a lot of radfem stuff she inserted into her videos but she is given a pass because she suddenly believes in trans rights and that trans women are women even though she literally cribs her feminist teachings from Andrea Dworkin and Gail Dines, two huge red flags that everyone is literally pretending are not man haters and don't just hate men.

I've seen him say this a couple of times but I wish he would provide more examples or more than a five minute explanation. While I wouldn't deny that political lesbians hated men there is a pretty big gap of time between the height of political lesbianism and the backlash against TERFs. There probably are some middle aged trans-women who could provide lots of examples of feminist transphobia throughout the years, but that wouldn't prove his point. It sounds like he is thinking of something that would be obviously man-hating but it is possible he is thinking of something less obvious and more debatable. I've definitely felt frustrated with how feminists acknowledge that sexism hurts men, and feminist is often defined as a fight against sexism, but feminism never prioritizes male issues, and the fear that if you give men a voice that they will take over. Still that's more "I don't care about men" than "I hate men".

This comment section is the reason people think Vaush has sexism in his audience.

But his brand of content is bringing people over who used to be on the right, so I guess that's a transitional period.
