Had mine taken out on Monday after a 2 wk stay in hospital. i ended up with pancretitus as well and was very ill i even lost a stone in weight. After sergrey I had to stay in hospital for a couple more days because i needed morphine and fentanal. My sergrey took over 2 hours because the gallbladder was huge coved in lesions and full of stones the sergeon said it was hard to pull out. When I came home I made sure I walked up my garden path a couple of times a day to help encourage a bowl movement because I hadn't been in 8 days i started drinking Movicol 2 times a day the day I got home and I went today with no issues. Just eat loads of high fiber fruit and drink plenty of fluids i don't have any tummy pain or diarrhea and I'm back to eating healthy meals I even had a chicken tikka with wholegrain rice today and I've had no issues. So hopefully I'm going to be 1 of the lucky ones that won't have or get anymore problems with my insides.

I was operated on my gallbladder on the 22nd after 8 hrs everything is fine thanks to the doctors even expensive but the work is great

Getting mine taken out on 2/26 with robotic laparoscopy. Full of gallstones!! I'm 67 so I guess it's about time lol. Hoping and praying it all goes well and they don't perforate anything.

Im n 4 days after operation still pain a bit but the most pain was in my right shoulder its pain as hell like i want to cut it but it took only 2 days...thnx for this veds.❤

I went home with my gallbladder in place. I’d rather clean up my lifestyle—low fat plant based diet—than face the typical complications like diarrhea from loosing an important organ. I can always let them yank it out later if my plan fails. So far I have been very careful and haven’t had any further attacks. Wish me luck.
