I Modded the most power dense SFF GPU. EVER!

I modded JK&G Venture's Copper Heatsink onto my RTX 4000 SFF; Along with their power mod, this made it incredibly powerful for the size. It is literally the most performance per volume space good for SFF builds especially since it requires no additional cables.

This is a really cool video. It should have more views.

boosting the wattage is fine but only if there is external power, max rated power through the PCI E slot is 75W thats probably why the max rated power on the card was 70W, increasing over that means it will be running out of spec and you run the risk of breaking your motherboard. again assuming the card does not have external power.

man i love mods like these. really mad about the missing ram chips lol. impressive results from that power mod too. i bought the low profile 4060 for an itx build im doing but now im jealous of your sff 4000.

That missing memory chip makes me sad...
Great vid! Definitely giving me some inspiration to try something similar.

What happens to the motherboard if you keep pulling 110-115 W (your video says 115 W, their website says 110 W) from the motherboard's PCIe slot since the slot itself is only rated for 75 W, per PCIe spec?

(i.e. running that at 100% load, 24/7/365 for years?)

Aren't you pulling too much power from the PCIe slot this way? They are only rated for 75W.

What resistor did you need for 110 watt ?

Would be interesting to make a homelab with chatgpt support but I’m not sure if you can make it aserver/client GPT

I understand this is an SFF card, but is that the only reason to go for this? In the UK the card is quite pricey £250-400+ (ebay) depending on RAM config. That's without any mod, so what's the point.
