Learning from my mistakes

I'm not perfect and have made countless mistakes throughout my life. I'm 40. That's a lot of mistakes. As a result, I'm getting better about acknowledging them, course correcting, and moving forward while making an effort to not repeat the same mistake.

In one of my newer, recent vids I referenced an income level in an uneducated & rude manner. It was rude - yes. I own that. However, it was uneducated because once I realized my error and educated myself I realized what I had said was flat out wrong...so I reviewed the video on YT's online platform and was able to edit out the two sections while keeping the video live and open to the public.

Uploading videos daily has been an incredibly fun and rewarding challenge that nobody pressed upon me, but myself...clearly I need to prioritize quality over quantity videos, need to better understand where the audience is that I might be speaking to in any given video, and do a better job of placing myself in others' shoes before hitting 'publish.'

We all make mistakes. I'm sure you've made them, too. Time to tighten up.

That's literally the only thing I've taken from Dave Ramsey. 🤣 I use that saying ALL the time!!

I'm only comfortable talking about money with people who are in similar financial situations as we are. I especially don't talk about money to family. They've made poor financial choices for years and don't take my advice so I stopped. 🤷
