One of my favorite things about this song is how most people don't get the lyrics right in the line
"rubbin' sticks and stones together make the sparks ignite and the thought of rubbin' you is gettin' so excitin'", either people actually mis hear the lyric or are afraid to sing it, most will sing it as "the thought of lovin' you", that's not the correct lyric.

I love this song and remember the TV show from the late 1970s. I watched this video a lot during Covid days when people were supposed to quarantine. It reminded me of more "normal" times when we could get outside and be with each other. I liked skateboarding kids and the people working who were watching that were included. Nice videography. It also reminded me about growing up. I was around 11 when the song came out in 1976. Would be nice if the video could be remastered and the color could be lightened up a bit. Thanks for the memories! :)!

I think this Afternoon Delight video is making an allusion to the Beatles rooftop concert in the Let It Be movie. The way the Beatles concert scene showed the regular people who didn't exactly get what was going on. This has a little of that.😊
