The Office of Civil Defense is verifying two more reported fatalities in Metro Manila, which was battered by heavy downpours due to the typhoon-enhanced southwest monsoon.

Mataas na ang Sea Level. Bumababa ang Luzon sa ground. Hindi na kaya ng flood control. Ayon sa Environmental Planner mataas na ang mga River Banks at hindi na kakayanin ang paglaki ng tubig at babahain ang mga Lungsod Ng Maynila. Kelangan na mapalawak ang Reclamation Area at mag evacuate dun sa lugar na mabababa ang lugar at magkaron ng metering sa lahat ng mga ilog kapag may bagyo at baha.

Yan ang 5500 na flood control projects. Kaya lalong bumaha.

Dahilan ng pagbaha sa Maynila ay over populated na ang Region at hindi na kaya ng flood control at wala ng exit point dahil overflow na ang mga riverbank. Kaya ang tubig lahat sa mabababang lugar na ang punta at dito na binabaha dahil nandun ang mga bagong bahay na itinayo kahit mababa ang puwesto.

🇵🇭 I grew up in Bagong Ilog, Pasig (Kubo area), well, just a sneeze & Flood's Knee deep. A Cough is Legs deep, when heaven Cries, chest to neck deep I remember, and other places are much deeper. Takes a lot of getting used to it but when U grow older, you're somewhat prepared for any flood anywhere. Just don't be afraid, you'll naturally adapt to it and know what to do..
