I think the biggest obstacle to overcome is to deal with places like apartment buildings and complexes like the one I live in the entrance is under a canopy so it would be hard for the drone to deliver the package

Hey zipline! Im making a flying model of your drones but it uses ionic thruster to power itself in the air, with two DC motors on the side just in case theres a problem with the Ionic thrusters, its also waterproof and can take winds up to 100KPH! Its cargo bay is relatively small, its made with cardboard and im planning on putting a waterproof light material around it, the battery is located in the front, it powers the DC motors, not the ionic thrusters, im inspired by your drones and made my first one called the telo-1. Drone ID 104. Its really small but cant make any deliveries until testing! I have to make more, it’s design is close to yours with the V shaped tail and the fixed wings! With ionic wind it can fly in a vacuum! Im putting heat tiles on the bottom for re-entry! Ionic wind is reusable! The Telo-1 can make world trips, it’s honestly fast. It can visit mars in a minute! Im also trying to make one achieve light speed! Im programming it to open the trap doors and know where it’s going! It can reach schools that are broke like mine, pencils that they make from scratch! It has landing lights and is easy to catch! During freezing temperatures, it de-ices itself by releasing a bunch of hot water! Its a prototype but eventually your delivery drones and mine will be the future of drones, it has green and red lights on its wings and a nav light on its tail, A mechanism turns the battery on and makes the rotors start spinning, when in collision of one of your drones, it Decends some and turns and circles before continuing its journey, when its passing low you can only hear a small hum! its really quite and the packages have wings too! When dropped the DC motor activates and keeps the package on a steady course towards your doorstep, whats inside the box is your delivery and some systems that activate the DC motors, the package looks like your P1 drone but different, it has differential thrust since it has no visible control surfaces. When on the main drone when everything fails, there will be a booster to keep it in the air, and when it runs out of power, thats when everything comes back to life, it has a panel inside that tells from one of your drones to other traffic, Telo-2 will be much bigger, and have landing gear.

The docking infrastructure seems way more costly and complicated to scale than Wing's one.
