Atmospheric rivers, which are intensified by climate change, account for more than 90% of flood damages in California. These storms present the biggest threat to our low-lying areas sitting below levees.

Liz Bryson is the Manager of Flood Operations at the California Department of Water Resources. Bryson and the DWR lead the state’s flood response. When activated, people pack a relatively small and unassuming room in Sacramento.

How much did climate change influence the atmospheric rivers that brought the Great Flood of 1861-62 which caused flooding many magnitudes more severe than this last weather event?

Uhm the atmospheric rivers are not intensified by climate fraud. We know back when Sacramento was founded it rained for about 40 days and only Sutter's Fort was out of the water. There was no climate fraud back then. It's all bravo sierra to tax us more
