I like how they talk about a big flood but the politicians keep approving housing developments in risky flood plains.

First we don't have enough water and now they say we are going to have too much water.

Now that everyone is bored with covid drama it's time to start fear-mongering about the dreaded flood of 2080.

I saw in a article that you need at least 30 inches of rain for the next 40 years for California to be consider "normal" the only thing that will happen is that there is going to be a lot of flashfloods because of all the fires and dry soil up in the hills and mountains but that's because of what's going on right now. California specially Southern California need so much rain for many decades to be back to normal, for God's sake our ponds are drying up over here literally drying.

I don't care how big the flood is, we'll always be in a drought

Just another reason to call climate change.
Why did you drain the dam.

I encourage any climate activist to look up California’s dam’s …and what the government does with them

Everyone forgets what El Nino is all of a sudden. Let's not blame the change of the weather on the seasons and cyclical changes the Earth experiences over large periods of time. Naw. That's too logical and supported with facts. Let's cherry pick some numbers from selected studies to draw cataclysmic conclusions based on unrealistic assumptions with heightened tensions and fear. Only then can we support drastic changes to support the economic interests of a select few.

California already had the megaflood. Flooded with homeless, flooded with taxes, flooded with high gas prices, flooded with traffic. Also I don’t know why we are worried about a little rain. California is literally on fire most of the year. We need the rain.

You can't call something that is cyclical, no matter the time span, a change. I don't poop everyday and when I do, I don't claim its a colon change.

8% was saved in water reservoirs, but 92% of the rain water was allowed to flow back into the ocean. 🤦🏻

It's awesome to see history repeat it's self in our normal long term weather patterns.

When it happened in 1861 it was a flood. But now...climate change, climate nauseum.

What people don't understand is the "change" happens very slightly every 100 years. These are natural weather patterns.

San Francisco could use a good 40 days and 40 nights of flooding.
