Merciful God, forgive me for my shortcomings and mistakes. Help me to forgive those who have wronged me and to let go of bitterness and resentment. Grant me the grace to reconcile with others and to walk in the freedom of your forgiveness.

The Eucharistic doctrine is not a metaphor as suggested by the commentator and there is nothing in this discourse that would suggest it's a metaphor. The true presence of Jesus in the Eucharist was taught by the apostles to their own disciples and was taught down throughout the centuries. This is a biblical and historical truth.
