I went there after hurricane Hugo. Montserrat got hammered. Not nice .
My team and I built 57 small homes. We were a volunteer team from Canada. Funded by the Salvation Army .
Close to the end of that adventure I climbed and fell from that volcano. I’ll never forget the people of that enchanted emerald island of the Caribbean. My heart has never left, or any of our tools. I joined the emerald community singers and we sang in the square in Plymouth to celebrate Nelson Mandela.
I’ll always view Montserrat as a little piece of heaven on earth.
My goal is to return & recapture a glimpse of those enchanted days before I leave this planet.
