Показать описание
In part 9 of 119’s Learn Biblical Hebrew, we form more sentences after learning a couple of more words, and about how to use some prefixes. We learn the words kelev (dog), bayit (house), david (beloved, David), and erets (land). The prefixes of hey with patach (the), bet with sh’vah (in or with), and vav (and) are also reviewed.

The lessons on Biblical Hebrew are very helpful to me. Your explanation of the functions of the vowels are very clear and I am picking up faster than I thought. Thank you very much, and God bless you and your ministry .

I've just finished the latest video in the series. I can't believe I can now read Hebrew. I'm delighted. Thanks so much for these videos and I hope you'll continue the series!

I have a question, at the 8 min mark you show the world/name David spelt with a dalet & dagesh. At the 8:49 mark the word in a sentence has dropped the dagesh. Would you explain why? Forgive me if you already covered this in earlier lessons - I will be rewatching all of these for sure. So far your lessons have been the easiest for me to understand you are a great teacher!

Really enjoying these classes, thanks a lot. Just an observation: maybe it would have been better to say that Hebrew has no word for the definite article "a" or "an". To avoid having some people misinterpret it as the letter "a".
