homework answer...
in 🔼 ABC,
tan 30° = AC/BC
1/√3 = 100/ BC
BC = 100√3
BC= 100*1.73 = 173 m

IN 🔼 ACD,
tan 45° = AC/CD
1= 100 / CD
CD = 100 m
Now distance between those cars
= 100 + 173
= 273 m ( answer)

Homework Solution: distance between both cars is =(100√3+100)m
=(100×1.73+100 )m
=(173+100)m
=273 m {Answer}

Explanation of my solution
Fig. 2 cars are there at the opposite side of the 100 m tall tower also name the triangle so formed as ABC and ABQ
→🚘 🗼 🚘
Distance from first car to the tower,
→tan 30°=AB/CB=1/√3
→100 m/CB=1/√3
→CB=100√3 m=100×1.73m=173 m
Now, tan 45°=AB/BQ
→1=100 m/BQ
→BQ=100 m
Now distance between those to cars,
→CQ=CB+BQ
→CQ=173 m+100 m
→CQ=273 m
Therefore, the distance between the two cars is 273 m

Sir Answer of your Question is 273 m.
Sol. :- in Δ ADC
tan45° AD/CD
.°. CD =100m
And
In Δ ADB
tan 30° =AD/BD
.°. BD = 100√3 m which is equal to 173m.
.°. Distance = CD + BD
=> (100 + 173) m.
=> 273 m.
