I found that upload only works with 115200 as upload speed. I saw in your video that you also switched this to 115200 without mentioning this.
Can you confirm that upload ONLY works with 115200 ?

Nice, I was hoping you got the LEDDisplay demo to work, I really was hoping to see that :-) The MPU6886 demo works, it displays to the serial console. LEDSet demo needs to be renamed to show up on a linux machine, and buttom I'm thinking should be button. But I have a question: Have you noticed random pixels lighting up when using the Adafruit library?

The main matrix example from M5 still doesn't work which is pretty naff. Also, using the Adafruit library with the M5 library doesn't work since it makes everything very flickery. Have to say that I'm rather disappointed. The M5 hardware is pretty nice but badly let down by poor software support.
