In a brushed DC motor, the rotor spins 180-degrees when an electric current is run to the armature. ... In brushless DC motors, the permanent magnets are on the rotor, and the electromagnets are on the stator. A computer then charges the electromagnets in the stator to rotate the rotor a full 360-degrees.

Idk wtf you did or why but I did clap and giggle when it turned on

I wonder if you dimple the top with triangular holes folded in if you can create an impeller that will push air across the coils to help cool them.

If only it were actually this simple to open sealed brushless cans

Hi good job and thank you for sharing.
A lil suggestion, i bet if you used thicker copper wire i bet it would've run faster and a bearing on the top side...

Really simplified that in the best way

More current then at a similar voltage? More watts, so to speak, more heat given off by the "improved" motor. Perhaps an attached fan might be a good idea to extend the useful life of this 'improved' motor?

Nice Idea! I would use a delta connection though...

Good work, need to do something for stabilization and shaft locking

Don’t the wires short out because they are touching each other. Or do they have protective coating?

You didnt but any bearings in it, the shaft will wear out and come loose after a little use

Well i made same but magnet are weaker so the rpm is super high but torque is low I use those CPU fan magnet with this motor body and i reduce its length to half so motor can be handle even torque is low

Where to find this metal disc you used for the base of the motor ?

Nice Demo of how it can be done, but pointless: the Brass bearing will wear out and the outer bell will start wobbling.
Given the price of a real BL motor and a matching ESC to geht a higher efficiency factor than a cheap brushed using simple Control and Most probably this one (60-80% --> 90%), this approach doesnt pay, als you still need the ESC.

Thank you so much for this I have been wanting a brushless motor for so long but didn't have the funds to purchase one. This is awesome because because I have 3 heavy duty drill motors that are almost Identical to the one in the video, Once again thanks A LOT. This motor will be used to develop my RC car even further THANKS
