If God is all-powerful and all-loving, why is there so much evil and suffering? That is the question Brandon and I discussed. This was not a debate, but a conversation, so the goal was not to win the other over, but to try to understand each others perspective.

Ahhh, the good old never-ending dialogue :). There is ZERO chance that they will come closer to eachother, but its fun to watch.

ah than you have not met God yet, if that was your reason of following God because of meaning.

One day you will. It will be nothing like you ever imagined. And your whole premise is wrong, God is all powerfull, all righteous, but not all loving.

Hello, I have one question, and I ask that if possible, please answer me, so that I can clarify everything and be a good Christian:

An atheist claimed that Abaris, Atalanta, Orion, and Hermes walked on water long before Jesus, and that even Hermes flew over entire oceans. He claims that this was such a common feat at the time that even Pythagoras himself is depicted calming storms and soaring over the waters. *Anyway, he claims that Jesus' deeds of walking on water and calming the storm were a blatant copy of all these myths*. Are this real?
