Pixar Now Has 2 Puberty Movies and Both Are… Connected!

Pixar’s Turning Red is 2 years ago and don’t forget it’s a metaphor about girls dealing with puberty. So a quick flashback, when Mei woke up from a nightmare, the hormones in her body started to change drastically. And that triggered her strong emotions which led her turning into a red panda. And you know what? The red color is actually a metaphor for Mei’s period! Ew! I know it’s gross but Pixar is genius for hiding it so well. And now, we know that Turning Red itself basically means turning into a young woman. And by the way, teenager Riley from Inside Out 2 happens to be a fan of… 4-Town?! I think this is a cool crossover between Inside Out and Turning Red. Imagine Pixar made Riley and Mei in one screen, it would be amazing and that would definitely bring back the hype for 4-Town as well. Fingers crossed!

Having periods is not gross at all, and i applaud Pixar for having the guts to tackle such a topic whereas a lot of other kids movies and TV shows love acting like a menstrual cycle is a taboo topic. Periods are natural, girls experience them during childhood, and so they're kid-friendly.

Periods are not at all gross I feel like it’s amazing that Pixar was able to make a movie suggesting about it bc if there are younger girls watching it might be nice to like watch and know that she’s not alone… people who thinks periods are gross are just weird bc it’s not at all people go through it wether they like it or not 😅😂

Just because it's a natural and normal thing doesn't mean it isn't gross. Pooping and throwing up are just things that bodies do and it's gross. Your body sheds this awful smelling uterus lining mixed with a little blood. I think mines is gross Lol. It's not all flowers and rainbows. Then depending on the individual it causes extra body odor. Don't get me started on when/if it stains your clothes

Hopefully my mom likes Inside Out 2 better then Turning Red.(When my mom and I were watching Turning Red, she thought it was so bad that she had to get up and do laundry instead)
