Glen Campbell Sings 'Pretty Woman' (Roy Orbison)

From July 1998, Glen Campbell, complete with shades, sings the Roy Orbison hit "Pretty Woman", with help from T. Graham Brown & Gary Chapman. Glen never recorded this song as far as we know, although he did record several other Orbison songs over the years.

I saw him sing a Roy Orbison medley in Galveston about 11 or 12 years ago- it was moving how apparent was his sincere love and respect for Mr. Orbison.

Dam, it can`t remember Glen not playing and singing at the same time. He was really a show man on guitar he was the rock star of country in his day. RIP!

For people that like music and can really appreciate it, Glen was most talented and musical entertainer of our lifetime.  He had music in his blood.  Frank, Elvis, Dean, and others, had their own style, but Glen was a true musical person that could play any music, could sound professional, and could communicate with the audience.  Now that's an entertainer!  I would put Glen at the top of any entertainer!  He could have done anything he wanted with music and communications.  He would have been great on a talk show like The /Tonight Show, but he would have had to take a pay cut.

Glen had an incredible voice, he was nearly as talented a singer as a guitar player. I love this performance because even though his voice faltered more than usual, he was simply having a ton of fun performing in the Roy style. The reverence he had for Roy is pure and lasting, ill never forget his Crying renditions
