Can't play all songs by artist

The Surfans F20 hifi mp3 player is great for sound and space. But I seem to be having trouble playing all songs by one artist. Instead, you click on the name of the artist and it automatically brings up their albums. In which you can only play the songs in that album - if you want to play their other songs you have to switch over to another album.

This is not playing by artist - just album only. I want to be able to play ALL songs available by this artist on shuffle/repeat but I can only play one album at a time. This is a major drawback.

I have reached out to customer service to see if I am doing something wrong. If anyone else owns a Surfans F20 and knows how to do this please comment and let me know.
