It is interesting that when Sinner was ranked 4-5 and Alcaraz became the next big thing and rank 1-2, Sinner beat Alcaraz more often in the H2H. This year where Sinner is dominating everyhting he losses all the time against Alcaraz...

Carlos came up with a clear game plan to blast Sinner off the court, and was successful for a good part of the 1st set. But such level of hitting is impossible to sustain and Sinner capitalized on the drop in level to grab the first set. After that, it was again episodes of brilliance from both players followed by some ordinary shots. I am glad Alcaraz came out on top in the end. He deserved this slightly more than Sinner.

To be honest I cannot watch when these two guys are playing each other.
My heart cannot manage so I just peep on the score from time to time.

I find people tend to give Sinner the edge but actually Alcatraz is the one who has broken records. There are many stats and Alcatraz is the one who is leading. He should get the player of the year especially if he continues to perform at these high levels.
