Part I:

Together:

The whole parish was herded together,
the municipality invited together;
there are all kinds of guests -
even the Viru elder was asked to join!
Tony, a worthy groom,
has asked little Mary to marry him.
Mary, a nimble girl,
is marrying Tony.

Part II:

Men:
The wedding party is super fine,
with fifty casks of vodka.
Wedding stuff was brought together
as much as they could.
Ducks and geese were roasted
probably more than a thousand.
A whole bunch of guns
make noise in honour of the wedding.

Men:

Women:
The instrument fires up the senses, the dance is spinning the head,
the boy is asking and mother wants you to go dancing.

when a manly man pulls us in his arms?

when time comes, we may as well marry you.
