I hope “Settle into Ash” suggests a more chill life after their life of “Blazing ashes” which is how Hoederer’s team is depicted as, wandering flaming particles flowing along the wind atop the flames(battlefield), Hoerderer’s character in particular feels like he’s bought along by the flow of his circumstances, he accepts this flow but seemingly wants the journey to lead to good ending

that in the future Hoederer’s literature school, Ines’ loot/potato shop happens and ultimately as W(ingwoman) said, the two(H+I) can head back to Kazdel and talk over all the interior decorating plans for their love nest, Hoederer should really bring along this cringe ahh-ahh “My life belongs in battlefield” lost black lamb and remind her that this life isn’t really what they wanted, he’s responsible for that mindset by bringing her along his “flow” itfp.

Immaculate. Hoederer had a chance to escape his life as a mercenary, but yet does not; showing awareness that their current efforts as Sarkaz is pointless, yet continues to do so, as it's the only way how they do things.
