Arbitrary Morality: The Degrading Effects of Nature Worship

Dr. Vishal Mangalwadi, theologian and philosopher, talks about the inferiority of pagan cultures, specifically on morality. Nature does not reveal God's law in a way that can be clearly understood; thus, those who worship nature do not have a morality that is consistent or defined. Natural morality is survival of the fittest— the law of the jungle. True culture can't be established in that kind of society because the basis for culture, the rule of law, does not exist.

Morals without god are based on observation and compassion.
Nature is reality, what better place would we get morals from?

Blame the victims of colonialism for being immoral. The earthquake was so hard on the people of Haiti because they are poor and cannot afford fancy earthquake prevention systems. The people of Haiti are poor because they have been stolen from over and over again by foreign powers since they overthrew the direct control of France. Also earthquakes are common in San Francisco and not so common in Haiti. The people of Haiti simply were not ready. Poverty does not make one immoral or inferior.

Had to stop watching at 40 seconds in. The reason Haiti was hit so hard is their buildings and infrastructure just isn't designed to handle earthquakes. San Francisco is. Look to Japan. A lot of "nature worshipers" there. Plenty of nasty earthquakes too. Few people ever die from them. They have built their structures and infrastructure to handle such and so fewer injuries and deaths occur because of it.

Yeah 'cause San Francisco's a real holy place... Which is fine with me because I can't stand this religious BS!
