How To Install And Setup Xenia - Xbox 360 Emulator For PC

This is a brief guide to installing and configuring the Xbox 360 emulator, Xenia. This emulator is capable of running quite a few titles, however not all games are supported.

Just some quick notes:

- As mentioned in the video, if you don't see the xenia.config.toml file when you run the program for the first time, make sure your portable.txt file is in placwe and named correctly, otherwise it will be in a folder called "Xenia" in your documents.

- This guide was made before the shader cache update, but the Shaders folder will automatically generate in the same directory as your Content folder once you run a game.
Shaders will now cache much in the same way as emulators like Cemu, and they can be transferred from user to user! Also just remember that GAMES WILL TAKE LONGER TO BOOT IF YOU HAVE BUILT UP A SHADER CACHE.

The "Content Root" setting in the config file has also been fixed, so if you'd like to set your content directory as somewhere other than your Documents or the Xenia directory you can set the destination there.

Dude, thank you. I was having issue with games that used to run a few months ago no longer work after upgrading my AMD GPU. I didn't know I had to disable the Rov setting. Thanks a bunch!

Really good video, you gave me PTSD when all those emulator configs started to pop up, clear and concise unfortunately the one game i really want to play import tuner challenge seems to no quite work properly, i think i also am suffering from the sudden crashes due to my nvidia card

a lot of stuff with xenia has obviously changed, so a lot of the things you mention are sort of deprecated, such as the edram thing you talk about that is no longer an option. it would probably help for an updated tutorial.

The xenia.config.toml file weirdly is not in my folder, even by opening xenia and a game :L
Update: It wasn't there because I was using an older version lol...also, I love how your voice + video/tutorial style reminds me a lot of Dasbooshitt. Keep it on man ;-)

2:22 If you are on windows 10 and Have ransomware protection on for you PC. You will have to go into the settings and add the Xenia.exe to your whitelist to get the settings file.

its a broken file i think because it gives me an error when i try to open it i put the portable.txt file and then the application wont let me saying a file was not found please help me
