I just did removed my Golf and TDI badges. Pro tip: wait for warmer weather. I did it in 45f/7c. I ended up at the car wash blasting the rest of the glue off.

Fishing line, carpro adhesive remover. Rub it in and it comes off. No need to overkill

WD40 to soften the adhesive and a plastic razor blade to scrape off the resulting mess. Never fails!

I prefer to use sticky stuff remover to remove the glue, works way better

This is just to much things for 1 simple task, i dont get why u need bunch of cleaning supplys, for a fucking debage, just remove the badge, clean it with fibre, put some polisher and ur done. WOLA! like holy fuck.
