Rokket tracer has activated it's effect and won in the ocg/tcg, master duel and duel link finals

Other than the finals of both master duel and paper Yu-Gi-Oh the production was poor... I was pissed by that. The best players in the world playing in school setup

Dragon link proving the best deck doesn't have to be the newest and people doubted me at my locals months ago

the top 8 shows what a crutch maxx C is. hopefully this pushes them to ban in the OCG/MD

a bit heartbreaking that we came so close to having a world champion from peru but 2nd is still a massive achievement!
and I would've been happy with each one of the top 4 winning it. all 4 played cool and imo underrated decks. tbh glad no kash or tears won^^
I wonder if and how konami will hit dragon link now (and maybe swordsoul too).

As a dragon link player I was so happy watching that match!

I'm just happy about how far swordsoul made it in world

I watched the one match where the Korean Tear Player was against the VS player and honestly he should’ve 2-0’d. He was forgetting to mill off or doing other weird plays.

For those who expect another hit on dragon link, worlds is not a good representation considering its unique banlist.

Hey Galzo,

Thanks for the coverage of the event! I just wanted to say that I've really been enjoying the content you've been putting out lately, you're such a lovely content creator!

Keep up the good work, and have an awesome day today😄

Konami just loves to disappoint, literally so many things they couldve announced or do.

Hmmm Labrynth experienced the Branded Meta treatment. Claim the deck is the one to beat, board cards to beat it.

for me the whole event is amazing but konami really have a poor direction on this one.
the final venue is amazing but its only used for so short (like 6 hour or so according to the stream) which is HUGE wasted potential.

also from what we heard some of japan and other country content creator got invited to world yet there is no coverage of it at all on the stream like wtf?? like u can just do funny whacky event between ocg and tcg content creator while we wait for next category match but instead we just got presented by 30 mins timer each section

the event and duel itself is amazing and player enthusiasm is pretty hype but its such a shame it got let down by konami management

watched the event even tho im basically out of yugioh since the druler days just following a bit. first part of the event with the broke ass looking setup was definetly less exciting but main stage was nice. as you said, with master duel konami has given the community a big opportunity system, hope they do more with it. congratz to all the winners, nice seeing josh and his team win it, hes the only ygo player i still watch sometimes on twitch, also warming to see how billy the og was touched by an american winning. used to be my favourite player, always sympathic and a great player always enjoyed his insight. i just wish the tcg itself was in a better state, used to love the game, started day 1 playing it, played competitive for a long time but this clusterfck is tough watching.

I enjoyed all of it. I caught the last duel of duel links, and that was a battle. And paulie is so good. Congrats to him

The thing is people don't realize that Bystials are good against almost everything except kash. That gives Dragon Link a great matchup against almost anything except kash. People are crying for kash hits but once Kash is dead, Bystials will dominate the format again.
Konami should learn their lesson and give the Bystials the same treatment they gave to Tear, meaning limit every name to one, except for Lubellion maybe.
Extremely unfair cards imo.

My eyes legit felt better looking at the effort, camera angles, and UI designed for Pokemon and Magic the Gathering. I am willing to bet it was intentional by Konami to keep costs down and maximize profits by cutting corners everywhere they could. Going back to Yugioh and i was just bored. Imagine trying to get someone hyped to this that isn't a full on fan yet.

It didn't look like a World Championship to me; it looked like a game that is ready to sold off to another company.

Pour toutes les personnes qui commentent sans rien comprendre au jeu.
Les Worlds de Yu-gi-oh ont une Banlist unique pour le tournoi ce qui fait que se ne sont pas les meilleurs decks du jeu. Mais juste de l'événement.

Ps. Floodgates/Shifter players🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

Yeah hitting SwSo in the TCG is a no brainer, the Worlds format has all the degenerate decks hit pretty darn hard.
Meanwhile in the TCG we have Kash, D-Link, Branded, Purrely, Floo and pals all at full power, with SwSo getting 0 important tops since February this year.
