Not a perfect man.... but several things for certain - he was never arrogant, he sang from his soul, he loved and revered nature. He had a sweet and innocent way of looking at the world. Don't see those characteristics much anymore in today's world. RIP John you deserve it

What a great singer etc, , , I ran in to him once coming out of a Target store in Denver on Colfax. He was so gracious and we exchanged a few words to say hello. I told him I loved his music, voice etc, , and he thanked me. Never forget that, , a great memory for me. He was so talented.

I always get tears in my eyes when hearing this lovely song. It reminds me of my late fiance. We were living in Colorado when John died so this always takes me back to that nite in Colorado when we heard the awful news.
