You would not know just how grateful I am for this video. For years and years, I had to right-click and select 'keep text only' whenever I'm pasting a text. Such a troublesome, tiring method... I thought I would have to suffer forever... But you... You saved em from that life... Thank you.

Thank you. First be sure you are on the Home tab, highlight the entire text that you want to remove shading from, click on Design tab, then click on Page Borders located in top right of screen, click on Shading tab, click on No Color (and go to the drop down and click on the box that says No Color also) then on the right hand side where it says Apply to: make sure it says Text instead of Paragraph, and click ok. Now click on your page away from the text (to unselect the text). The shading is no longer there! Great tutorial!

I agree with Daniel! This is a lifesaver. Thank you. Thank you. Why doesn't WORD have this info available? I'd tried the 2nd two you mention, but they never work. The Control+Space one does. I wonder what menu command that represents.

What a brilliant video. I am editing my book and I had copied and pasted a quote from the internet which then left a blue/grey background going over into the next page as well. I thought I would have to retype it all but thanks to the video it removed the colouring completely.

I am really excited for this wonderful support. I had taken me more than 3 days thinking about how I can remove the highlights because it was a big document that I had to submit to my boss without the highlight. This 3rd method is extremely helpful and the issue is totally solved. Thank you my dear for supporting.
