When I was a kid, I'd see something like this and not be into it, but now I realize how truly fantastic Louis Armstrong and these players are.

I am a jazz player-sax, flute, clarinet. 77 years old. saw this band at the Minneapolis Armory in 59. That drove me into becoming a
player. They swung hard! I was hooked. I am still playing.

I'm born and raised in New Orleans. I'm 67. I grew up with this amazing music especially around Mardi Gras. I feel very blessed.

I'm a Japanese student, but I'm into Louis Armstrong these days! I joined the wind instrument club at school and am in charge of clarinet. The clarinet solo at 1:08 has a very beautiful sound and it feels good to listen to🎶

It’s only when after watching Ken Burns documentaries on the Civil war, Baseball and Jazz (In the process of watching baseball now) you realize what American culture really is and how great it is

My favorite genre is classic rock but there is just something about Blues/Big Band Jazz that makes it a close second.

C'est la seule vidéo que je montre de temps en temps à mon fils de 2 ans (sinon pas encore d'écrans pour lui). Il s'intéresse beaucoup à la trompette et la batterie et applaudit à la fin en criant : "Bravo les messieurs"!

Even as a young kid, I loved him and the most of the entertainment back then...I knew I was watching something extraordinary. There is nothing like this today, and that is sad..

Louis Armstrong. Here he is - he’s an old man. He’s 63 years old, ” Louis Armstrong Knocks Out The Beatles. The last hurrah for one of the legends of American jazz and for a type of American music that, after this time, would never again be as popular.🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷

Louis was one of my major inspirations when I picked up my trumpet for the first time. No matter what was going on with him in his personal life, it felt like as soon as he blew that horn all problems just fade into obscurity

My first song on the trumpet copied by listening to Mr. Sachmo himself on a 45 recording given to me by an old retired school teacher who learned I was beginning the trumpet. Long live Louie!
