This clip is so sad, man. I just watched another video on here from 1986, when she was fresh faced and full of life and joy, effortlessly belting out this song. And to see her here, nearly 20 years later… that horrible industry chewed her up and spit her out and the media just kept kicking her while she was down. Such a tragedy.

Whitney loved Bobby with all of her heart.. he left to go be with the woman he’s married to now. Whitney & him were married for 14 plus years. Ppl really don’t understand the pain she really endured. Just sit & really think about it. She literally died of a broken heart. I will always love & respect her. Idc if she’s not here physically. Her spirit was full of love & light. She loved the lord just as much as she loved to sing. I ask everyone who’s reading this to please show Whitney some respect & compassion. She contributed so much to this music industry. Todays music couldn’t hold a candle to what Whitney’s has done for music. Im just thankful that I can play her music decades later & still feel love from hearing that beautiful voice. The most we could do is respect the deceased. May she continue to rest in eternal peace. Along with her beautiful daughter, Bobbi Krissy.

This was probably the most difficult period of her life. Still with Bobby but knowing she HAD to leave him (she did the following year). Knowing her voice was absolutely failing on her due to drug use.... and seemingly being unable to stop. Possibly facing bankruptcy. Her daughter understandably fighting back. Robyn gone. Her previous album failing in the charts. The constant media scrutiny. She was overwhelmed and heartbroken and you can SEE IT right here. I wish she had the strength to kick her habit and fight her demons but I just don't think she had any fight left. She was too exhausted. X

Whitney was so depressed during those Atlanta years. Bobby and his family just kept eating away at her and not helping her get better at all . The woman was isolated, depressed, and lonely all of her old staff was gone . No good friends around her .wow
