It was reported from Sälib bin Kaisãn, from Näfi' bin Jubair bin Mut'im, from Ibn 'Abbãs, that the Messenger of Alläh # said:
"The guardian has no command over the previously married lady, and the orphaned girl is asked.
And her silence is regarded as her consent." (Sahih)

Does this interpret that wali is not mandatory for nikah if women is divorcee?

But parents are old and ill and in our south Asian culture the brothers just listen to their wives so where do we as a divorced sister go, this is making it hard for us to remarry, brother don't want to spend money or care for the sisters
My question is where do we go?

Nikkah is made so hard for us . Our lives are spend convincing brothers who are mainly influenced by their wife and they don't really care for the well being of the sister once she had a mishap of a bad marriage. There is no welfare house that can help us no govt support we are lost and are emotionally tortured as we have been divorced as a defected being.

In Islam there is greater reward to marry a divorcee but no one really like to ....most men want a young virgin girl so unless you guys being scholars don't give a solution for this I am bitterly saying no one is following Islam it's just a mere word of mouth.
