Strategic Management is the process by which companies and organizations chart their future. It is a hierarchical process in which long-term objectives, goals, policies, and strategies all come together to support achieving an organization's mission and vision. This is an important process that is critical for business managers to understand. Unfortunately, it is easy to confuse key terms.
