The trends in the first three hours for the Karnataka Assembly elections have given a clear lead to the Congress party with 115 seats, but the majority seems to be wafer-thin.

While the BJP is at the second spot with close to 80 seats, the JD(S) which was expected be the kingmaker is at the third spot with close to 25 seats.
