Karnataka Election Results 2023 Updates: Congress Wins 136 Seats, BJP 65, JDS 19

The Congress was poised to win power in Karnataka, ousting the BJP from its only southern perch, party chief Mallikarjun Kharge vowed to do justice to the faith reposed in them by the voters. Thanking the people of Karnataka for delivering an overwhelming mandate in the Congress’s favour, Kharge credited the party cadre for the victory. He also thanked the Gandhi family for their leadership and promised to deliver on all five promises made to Kannadigas in the party’s poll manifesto.
