Recently I got shortlisted for Junior Specialist Role at BCG. After clearing the Case Study Round, HR called me for the 2nd round of Interview on the same day. As the results for Case Study round was delayed by 3 4 Hours, I thought 2nd round would be conducted on some other day. Since I was commuting when I received a call from HR for 2nd round, I asked her to give me 10mins for settling down. In next few minutes HR told me that they'll take my interview in the next week. I was assured by the HR for same. Ultimately 2nd round never happend as they found a suitable candidate while making me wait for a week (I was ready to give the interview on the same day). Few days back, I saw the same guy who was selected for that role on Linkedin. It broke me down when I saw the HR commenting a Congratulatory message on his post!

You can get into McKinsey if you are not from top 5 colleges but you won't be able to join BCG. They are extremely badass with your college

I have a decent amount of work experience across multiple sectors. And now I wish to enter the consulting world. Why is GGI not accepting people above a certain age limit (34 if im not wrong)

I am doing my Masters in Management at Lancaster Unuversity UK and it is ranked in top 100 business school in world and has higher ranking in terms of IIM and IIT. I am planning to apply for management consultant roles at India. Can you share your opinion about this. Whether top management consultant hire a fresher on an off campus way in India.
